Natick Resident Cynthia Hall Kouré Joins The Home for Little Wanderers as Director of Foundation Relations
The Home for Little Wanderers, America’s oldest child welfare agency, has appointed Cynthia Hall Kouré as Director of Foundation Relations.
Cindy brings over twenty years of professional fundraising experience to the position. In her new role, Cindy will develop and lead strategic partnerships with local and national foundations in support of The Home’s critical mission.
“Cindy is a highly skilled fundraising professional who brings an expertise in grant writing, relationship-building, and entrepreneurial experience that will bring innovation and growth to our foundation partnerships,” said Todd Tuney, Chief Development Officer of The Home for Little Wanderers. “We are thrilled to have her join our team and look forward to working together to build stable lives and hopeful futures for kids.”
Cindy’s experience includes developing and implementing fundraising and communications plans, identifying grant and major gift prospects, writing grants, and developing collateral materials. She has expertise in foundation and corporate relations, major gifts, annual fund development, event planning, and development communications. Prior to joining The Home for Little Wanderers, Kouré helped raise money for various local nonprofits, including the Greater Boston Food Bank, Project Bread, and the Women’s Lunch Place.
Cindy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and German from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a Master of Arts in English from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
