The town-owned Sassamon Trace golf course has been open for more than a month now, but changes continue to happen as the state phases into re-opening.

Walking only tee-times are back available on the website. Golf course is open 6 am - 6 pm. You MUST have a tee-time to play. Single-use and same-household golf carts are available. Please let them know you want a cart when booking.

Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance.

UPDATED league times. You will not be able to book when league play is going out.

Tuesday - 2:12 pm - 6:12

Wednesday - 7:36-10:48 2:48-6:12

Thursday - 3:24-6:12

If your call is missed, don’t fret. Call volume has been extremely high and calls will be answered when there is someone available to answer it. Leave a voicemail and it will be return

The following updates have been in place since the course re-opened last month.

• Remove ball washing stations

• Remove all water stations from the course

• Porta-john removed

• Each player must have their own clubs

• Do not show up more than 15 minutes ahead of your tee-time

• Remove bunker rakes from the course

• Golf holes filled with PVC pipe so the ball still stays partly above ground

• Players instructed not to touch flag sticks

• Rental clubs not available

• Golfers may pay in advance over the phone with a credit card (please have the card ready when you call)

• 12 minute tee-times

• No walk in play allowed, no twilight, must make tee times

• 6 foot radius

One very welcome update is that the inside bathroom is now open.
